No — the original picture is kept whole in every version and the new area is painted around it. The exact-size downloads trim only the few pixels needed to hit the platform’s numbers.
What if my photo is already one of these shapes?

Does the extended part look real?
It continues what is at the edges — walls, sky, ground, a table top. Busy edges such as crowds or text can come out odd; check the borders before you post.
