A real run
What was entered
- Describe the voice
- a calm, low male narrator in his fifties, unhurried, warm, for documentaries
- A line to hear it say
- Hello! This is the voice you just made. It can read your articles, your scripts and your stories.
What came back, unedited
Run on 2026-10-18 through this page’s own request; nothing edited. Files are compressed for this page.
How it works
- 1Describe the voice: who is speaking, age, tone, pace and mood.
- 2Press Design and listen to the line it reads back.
- 3Use it to read any text; download MP3 or keep it in your library.
Questions
- What should the description say?
- Who is speaking (age, gender), the timbre (deep, bright, husky), the pace and the mood, and what it is for — e.g. 'a calm, low male narrator in his fifties, for documentaries'.
- Is the voice someone real?
- No. It is a new synthetic voice made from your description.
- Can I keep using it?
- Yes. It is saved to My voices and appears in the voice picker until you remove it.
- Where can I use the voice?
- Here and in Text to audiobook, and in every use case that speaks: dubbing a video into another language, a voiceover on your video or photo, a talking photo, an article to listen to, a bedtime story. It appears under My voices in their voice menus.
- What does it cost?
- 9 credits to make a voice (including the preview), then 1 credit per clip of about 500 characters it reads.
